Following on from a major re-branding project for this well known packaging company, Kilby commissioned us to design and produce their latest product catalogue.
From an initial brief we created initial visuals with a slightly quirky approach than previous catalogues to signal the new brand. We created a cloud-based workflow with the client supplying complete chapters as they were signed off internally as Excel files. We then used Adobe InDesign to create a book with each section as a chapter to allow our studio to collaborate while maintaining a consistent style and layout throughout.
From our extensive print experience, we advised client to work to a finished pagination divisible by 16, based on a B1 litho press to maximise the sheet size, as such, 128 text pages were created and the final count was 132 pages including the 4 page cover which was PUR bound and matt laminated.
With retouching, image sourcing and original photography shot in our studio, we were able to offer a cost effective solution to a fairly extensive project.
