We were briefed to create a creative campaign that would promote a fresh product line-up whilst also communicating the change of brand from the previous and well established red lozenge to the blue type treatment along with new packaging.
Our proposed concept was to create a hero character, namely D2DT, the new face of Delphi Technologies Aftermarket. Created from various Delphi automotive parts, we crafted D2DT in CGI through many iterations, creating CGI models of all the individual parts before finally compiling into the master CGI model.
From this model, various poses and angles were rendered to create the images used in ads and other marketing collateral.
We developed our original concepts around the technology theme, wrote copy, created additional backgrounds and final artwork for both online and print ads.
The model of the robot is also fully rigged to enable animation and video creation if required in future.
