In 2014 we created our own e-commerce store, The Original Poster Shop. This required a new brand and a full e-commerce website which we populated with over 500 products requiring research, writing with SEO in mind, photography and video sourcing. Initially designed and built in Adobe Business Catalyst, it was re-designed and migrated to Shopify in September 2020.
With a diverse range of artists, bands and musical genres, the key to success has been SEO. A such, we used our expertise in natural search to optimise the site for searches on artists/bands and their relevant posters. This has proved to be the most effective marketing strategy along with Social Media. The site consistently appears at #1 or page 1 for all the relevant search terms, above Ebay and Amazon.
