Unipart Group is a multinational logistics, supply chain, manufacturing and consultancy company head-quartered in Cowley, Oxfordshire, England. It has operations in Europe, North America, Australia and Japan and works across a variety of sectors that include automotive, rail, marine and leisure.
We were briefed to devise a naming strategy and re-brand the Unipart Oil range to bring it up to date visually and align it with a revised product range to be introduced.
The naming methodology we devised simplified a previously complex series of products and differentiated the oil types (Mineral, Synthetic and Part Synthetic) with a single letter, followed by the grade.
We subsequently created a launch campaign with trade press, online, point of sale and email marketing.
